Maintenance Manager / Leiter Instandhaltung (m/f/d) Standort: Saxony-Anhalt Recruiter Gehaltsbenchmark*: vertraulich Our client is a global Tier 1 client who manufacture products for a number of the global OEM's. They have assigned Momentum to recruit a hands-on Head of Maintenance / Maintenance Director to be based on one of their manufacturing sites. The Head of Maintenance will be a strategic thinker with a vision to drive the team to provide state of the maintenance for the manufacturing machinery and tooling. Provide leadership and management of the team, dealing with urgent operational issues while also being able to devise a strategy to move the operation into delivering both TPM and repair schedule ensuring maximum up time of production and manufacturing lines. Responsibilities: · Responsible for the maintenance of the machinery on site · Implementation of the policies and instructions of the operations department and the plant management · Supports Lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kanban, visual management, 1-piece flow, etc. · Manage the maintenance department budget · Provide emergency repairs of production equipment, prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs · Responsible for preventative maintenance of facility equipment · Initiates planned maintenance programs, performs scheduled maintenance and preventative maintenance · Participation in the construction of new plants including technical inspection/ acceptance test Profile of Candidate: · You will be Degree educated or have a relevant technical qualification · Have demonstrable experience in working within a similar role which has led an industry leading maintenance team both operationally and strategically · Knowledge of electrical power supply and distribution · Knowledge of HVAC systems and natural gas heating equipment · Strong hands on mentality · Manufacturing experience is essential for this role and it is essential that the candidate will have previous automotive experience.
